Day Camps

We provide an opportunity for children in Highwood and the surrounding communities to come to our outdoor day camp to swim, play games, socialize, create craft projects, keep fit, learn about water safety, and most of all have FUN!! During inclement weather, camps will move indoors.


  July / August 2017 HOP Camp Costs & Information

Kinder Camp (5 Years Old) 
1/2 Days Only Cost
Weekly July 3 - September 1 $130.00 - 8:45AM to 12:00 or $105.00 - 1:00 to 4:30PM


Drop - in $30.00
Notes:
  • Participants must be age 5 at time of camp.  Due to child instructor ratios & our "within arms reach policy", HOP Day Camp may have limited spots for children registering in Kinder Camp.
  • Prerequisites: 
  • Children attending this camp must be toilet trained and able to use washroom facilities without assistance.
  • It is recommended that children attending camp are comfortable and able to function in a group environment without parental guidance.
  • All drop-off and pickup of children will be from the Highwood Community Association Hall                        (16 Harlow Ave. NW). All day camp registrations will be taken and paid for at the pool.
  • Red Cross Swim Lessons will be offered for AM camp participants only. Public swim will be offered for PM camp participants.
  • Before Care: 7:45 to 8:45AM Cost: $5.00 per use per child (drop off at the pool)
  • After Care: 4:30 to 5:00PM Cost: $2.50 per use per child 
  • Highwood Community Association Members showing their current year membership card at registration will receive a discount of $5.00 off 1/2 day registrations

Notes:

  • Prerequisite:

  • Times:  Full day is from 8:45AM to 4:30PM, 1/2 day is 8:45AM to 12:00 or 1:00 to 4:30PM
  • Before Care: 7:45 to 8:45AM Cost: $5.00 per use per child (drop off at the pool)
  • After Care: 4:30 to 5:00PM Cost: $2.50 per use per child 
  • Highwood Community Association Members showing their current year membership card at registration will receive a discount of $10.00 off full day registrations, and $5.00 off 1/2 day registrations

 

How To Register for Day Camp

All registrations will be first come, first paid, first served. In order to ensure your child’s spot, please register in advance. No phone registrations or holds will be accepted. 

 To register, print & complete registration documents (both Day Camp Registration form & Day Camp Health Info sheet) from the “Quick Links” provided on the home page of the website.

Campers will not be considered fully registered until all forms (Registration & Health Information - 2 pages) have been completely filled out, signed and payment has been received.
